Lay Ministry at FUUN is a spiritual care ministry where non-ordained congregational members provide pastoral care, active listening, and spiritual companionship to fellow members during times of illness, grief, or life transition.

Lay Ministers focus on companioning presence, not fixing, counseling, or providing material aid. Lay Ministers maintain strict confidentiality and recognize the limits of their volunteer scope. Lay Ministry Teams work closely with the Lead Minister for training and to handle complex crises.
