The FUUN Board of Directors met 04/21/26. Rev. Charlotte led us in a time for reflection. We discussed: What do we need to let go of (culture, attitudes, expectations, beliefs) to move into the flourishing we envision? For example, our new governance structure requires us to let go of some past expectations. We then discussed an update on the Pledge drive results. We have new people who have pledged and surpassed last year’s pledge amount! We have not yet met our pledge drive goal, so the pledge team continues to reach out to people who have not yet renewed their pledges. We discussed and refined proposed by-law changes for the Committee on Shared Ministry. We next set our agenda for our annual meeting on May 31, which will include several votes and presentation of two congregational awards. We also reviewed and provided feedback to the Governance committee on a section of the proposed board policies on Delegation to the Staff and Staff Roles.
