The Finance Committee needs YOU!
The Finance Committee currently has several openings and is in need of volunteers to serve on the committee.
The Committee meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. We usually meet by Zoom and rarely in person. Members may be asked to work on small projects between meetings. Some members also volunteer to count money and make our weekly deposit. During the winter, more time may be spent developing a budget by some members.
The Committee needs people who care about the finances of the Church. Experience with accounting and budgeting is helpful, but not a requirement. We currently need someone who can help us write procedures and someone who can write communications to the Congregation.
Our primary goal is to build this committee with new members who represent the diversity of the Congregation. This is one of the most important committees in the Church. Being on the committee is a good way to learn how the Church works. Just listening and voicing your opinion helps.
