We’re Closing the Gap
The weather was perfect and the music sublime on the front lawn of the Norris House this past Sunday for our re-opening celebration. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend in person and who watched on Facebook. Special thanks to the team who helped put it all together: Mike Bolds, Bob Day, Vanessa Hall, Jeannie Haman, Pat Lynch, and Ibba Surface, with Trigg and Jack Dedert running the tech deck. And, of course, thank you to the members of the fabulous Silversonix: Tom Surface (guitar, band leader), Sheri DiGiovanna (vocals), Jim Surface (guitar), James Collins (bass), Victoria Harris (drums), and Joe Warner (keys).
We’re getting closer to closing the gap in the budget. Donations totaling over $41,000 and the matching grant from the FUUN Trust bring the total raised so far to $82,570. We are grateful to everyone who has made a special gift, large or small.
