Donations are needed to provide financial assistance to impacted families. Every penny will go directly to families: https://remixtn.betterworld.org/campaigns/nashville-unidos-fund

Financial support is needed for nonprofit organizations offering emergency assistance to immigrants in our region during times of crisis. https://cfmt.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=4069

Donations are needed for food boxes: Rice, Dried Beans, Oil, First Aid kits, Masa, Diapers, Baby wipes, Feminine hygiene products, Sanitizing wipes, Lyft cards, and Bank Boxes. Please put these donations in the Susan B. Anthony room on Sunday.

We have heard this from our partner organizations: “Our most educated guess is that there's over 100 people in Nashville that have been picked up over the last two days for minor traffic incidences and arrested under civil immigration charges. Most of the people pulled over are thought to be those with minor infractions, like tinted windows or broken taillights. Some people were questioned about their tattoos. We've heard of mothers who were just trying to get to work and Asylum seekers who hadn’t had a chance yet to get a license. It reeks of racial profiling. Many families have not yet been able to locate their loved ones, and a team is working around the clock to identify those arrested.” People were stopped on roads in neighborhoods at the heart of the immigrant and refugee community.
