Dinners for Nine is a small-group fellowship activity designed to help people get to know one another over meals. It is a great way for newer members to get to know one another and feel a part of the larger community more quickly. Generally, the groups meet monthly from late September through June. Since Registration is starting a bit late this year, we will begin later in October, so please get your form filled out and sent back in ASAP! Groups of 9, but sometimes 10 or 11 people, are put together by members of the Fellowship Team. Groups are based on preferences noted on the sign-up form, for example, vegetarian or families with children vs. adults only. A different person hosts each dinner in their home. You can also host your dinner at a restaurant, park, or even the church. If you are able to host the first dinner, please indicate that on your sign-up form. Once the group meets for the first dinner, they can decide what schedule works best. Each person generally hosts at least once during the year. The host typically provides the main entree, and the other members bring the appetizer, salad, side dish, bread, wine, or dessert. It's really about making new friends or renewing acquaintances. Don't wait... sign up today!!
