FUUN has joined the Tennessee Interfaith Power and Light, as well as the Creation care Ministry for a Recycling Day on May 3, 2025. The event runs from 9AM-noon. Members of sponsoring congregations will drive through the parking lot and can shred documents, recycle electronics (for a fee) and donate items to Thrift Smart and the Turnip Green Creative Reuse. Old medicines can also be dropped off at the site.
This event speaks to our values and principles, it builds connections between other organizations and congregations, offers a one and done volunteer opportunity for FUUN members. And its the right thing to do ( and easy-we just show up)

Donations will be driven through the parking lot, so we need people to direct the flow of traffic and perhaps help unload.
