Furniture & Supplies Needed for Refugee Family:
Pat Lynch, Trigg, Linda D’Errico and David Orth started mentoring an additional refugee family, from Rwanda. The parents met in a refugee camp as children, married, and had six children (ages 2-12). Most of their life has been in the camp. The family now lives in Donelson, as of March 21st. This family has a HUGE learning curve. The parents speak no English and have never used a computer. The children know some English and have used computers in school. We have begun collecting furniture and kitchen supplies. The next set of needs includes dressers or bureaus, end tables, a coffee table, lamps, and a computer or laptop. If you have any of these things, in good condition, that you are ready to part with, please email our Social Justice Team.
